Centro Cultural de la Raza!
The Centro Cultural de la Raza is a very artistic place to visit. It was funded in the 1970's for people to know their own culture. Each little detail and symbol in each mural here have meaning. These little symbols are included in one of the most amazing murals here which is La Ovalidad. This mural shows a transition from evil to good. It changes from evil to in the middle of evil and good then finally to good. The center also helps with promoting artwork to help you become a more noticable artist. It also has dance lessons, singing lessons, an art gallery, and much more.
To me this center is really amazing. My family and I would love it because it tells more about our culture. It helps artists spread their feeling and emotions to the community. If any of my friends or family wants to learn to dance but at the same time learn their own culture, this place is perfect. Although the field trip took a long time to get here, it was really worth it. During our field trip, we had to sketch two things on the murals outside of the center. Below are my two sketches, I am the worst artist in the world so please do not judge me.
